A:AnswerThis particular TV seems to only want to work in one sound mode at a time. So if you want TV speakers on and some other sound source it won't do that if you are using HDMI output to home theater processor. It will however allow both internal speakers and Optical output to function at the same time. I am guessing bluetooth output is going to be a stand-alone output with everything else muted.
A:Answerthat depends on how its used. If it is on all day and thru the evening I would imagine that is a much shorter life expectancy than if you use it for 3-4 hours in the evenings. I have every reason to expect with average use to last 5 years or more.
