“Explain why RTings rated the TV so poorly when upscaling DVDs and other 480p content. I show a RTings screenshot explaining the TV upscales 720p content fine, but not 480p. The pic is vertically compressed .Is this fixable with firmware? I have many DVDs”

• I use a Panasonic 4K Blu-ray player that does the upscaling (I guess) & the picture is outstanding! Standard DVDs often look as good as Blu-rays, Blu-rays rival 4K. I don’t know why you wouldn’t let the player upscale the disc.
