They're fixed. You will need a very large TV stand for this if you cannot wall mount it. We opted for a very large version of the IKEA Fjallbo to fit it. There's just enough room on either side for my JBL LSR305 speakers at a slight angle.

For the 75 inch, the two placements would be 55.6 inches wide for the traditional position and 35.1 inches wide for the narrow position. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
