“Is the TCL 75" QM5K a "VA" TV or an "IPS" TV, and what about the other sizes - are they all "VA" or all "IPS"?”

• I believe it is a VA panel: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/qm5k. Not a great look from the sides like an IPS panel would. As long as you're looking at it from a reasonable viewing angle, it's definitely better than any IPS display from a decade ago. If you care about off-axis picture quality then you'll want to step up to something a little nicer. I have no complaints about mine from about 11 feet away on a couch, mostly head-on.
