Andy, I read a great review from DT site that they were able to review this tv in hand for demo directly from TCL. DT site said no hdmi 2.1. So unfortunate as I so wanted to buy this TV but without 2.1 I'm thinking it is to much. I wanted one since it was announced at CES but not sure what I will buy now. All my tvs have been TCL. Wish TCL would just confirm that it does not have hdmi 2.1 so buyers can be informed. Thanks
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One of the features in the specs and in the description is Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) which I believe is only possible with HDMI 2.1, correct? So that feature's inclusion would seem to confirm that at least one of the HDMI ports is HDMI 2.1, but I agree it should be listed explicitly and TCL's customer support should be able to say 100% certain whether it has it or not, and not just regurgitate feature buzzwords.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No HDMI 2.1. That is an absolutely unforgivable misstep in this size/price TV. It apparently can do 1440p@120hz, which is fine if you have a PC for that. PS5 does not support that combo; not sure about XBoxSX. I can only hope TCL's 0D miniLED XL has HDMI2.1, or else they may not be around to fix their mistake next year.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not have hdmi 2.1. When spending this much on a TV and you are a gamer too, this is definitely a deal breaker for me. Come on TCL!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV supports powerful new HDMI features, including eARC, Variable Refresh Rate (up to 120Hz), an Auto Game Mode and 120Hz HDMI Input decoding and is the world’s first TV with a THX Certified Game Mode, ensuring not only amazingly fast gaming response, but also a great cinematic picture that gamers demand! Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
