“Does this sound bar have its own power switch? or does it power ON when the TV is powered ON and turned OFF when TV is switched OFF? I do not want a sound bar that is always drawing power even when TV is Off.”

Depends how it is set up that when TV shuts off the Soundbar shuts off. There is an independent Power On/Off button on the soundbar including volume control. It also comes with a hand held remote control unit. Don't want anything in Standby drawing electrical power use a electrical power strip and turn them all off by manually pushing the switch off. The Soundbar draws next to nothing, much less than a night light. The only thing is would be the small LED on the Soundbar being lite when power is in standby. Maybe you are too sensitive to light at night as you need complete darkness to sleep.

The t.v. turns on soundbar, but does not turn off. The constant seeking bluetooth light is annoying. You will get up and turn off yourself!!! Sound is full at upper levels. Nice puch
