• Personally I like the hdmi cable set up. If you use hdmi you can easily turn off the sound bar and use the tv speakers if you don’t want to wake up anyone else, and you can easily turn it back on and switch from Bluetooth use. I personally did not like the optical cable as much, however I don’t have much experience or knowledge with using optical cable like this, the optical cable seemed very fragile and I did not like that.
