• The instructions recommend HDMI. If optic you may have to use the Bar remote.

• You would only utilize one connection at a given time. Only one input can be selected at a time on the soundbar. If your TV supports it, HDMI ARC is the recommended connection. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
