“How do you adjust the rear speaker level? Apparently no one did a test because they should be level matched to the soundbar and these are way lower and you can't hear them. I own a real theater system and you can clearly hear the surrounds. Huge fail.”

Never could get my subwoofer and rear speakers to pair with soundbar. Even after contacting service tech they tried everything possible still not work. Returned for refund and purchase different brand sound system at another retailer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I understand what you are saying. However they (or at least mine) do work and work well. YouTube offers several Atmos, IMAX and older Dolby tests that you can sample and adjust your soundbar.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same problem. The shelf speakers are too subtle - I'm honestly not even sure they work at all but I confirmed that they are connected they're just extremely low.
