• You can place it on something, mount it to the wall, or possibly attach it to the TV itself. I have ours just sitting in front of the TV and it works fine. For the sub, do not mount it anywhere. It needs to be sitting on a solid surface.

• The soundbar does not need to be mounted. It can be placed on a solid surface like a shelf or entertainment stand. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
