“I only have 1 3rd-gen slot that has room & screw hole lengths set to install any M.2 SSD to that slot. I understanding you can put higher than a 3rd-gen M.2 SSD into a 3rd-gen slot, it will just bottleneck at 3rd-gen speeds. A reason I shouldn't buy this?”
