Convenience of not carrying a physical game
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With a physical copy, only the updates and save files are stored in your Nintendo Switch. If you go Software (eShop) the whole game, updates, and save files are stored in your Nintendo Switch. So if you don't have a lot of free space in your Nintendo Switch better go Physical copy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Software is a digital download, the pro is it will always be on your switch no need to put in a cartridge but the con is it takes up memory on your switch/SD card. Physical is an actual copy that you put into the switch. Doesnt take up memory because all the data is on the card but if you forget to bring it when you take your switch somewhere or you lose it you wont be able to play it.
