“Can you connect an external amp and a subwoofer via the pre-out connection using a y splitter cable and still get full range signal to both the amp and the sub? Why not include both a preout and sub-out on this model?”

Hi Ric! We do not recommend such usage of our SU-GX70 model, as it may cause damage to the equipment. The outputs on the unit are left/right designated and cannot support two different connections at the same time. We hope this information will be useful! - S
