“I use my laptop to stream to tv, what other ways to stream, do you recommend?”

• Using a direct ethernet connection to my modem/gateway/whatever. I stream major services (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, YouTube, etc) to my TV through my Tivo Roamio DVR that records from antenna reception, not cable.

• You need a smart TV. Can get one at Best Buy for $100-150 bucks for a small one. Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon, or ROKU. These are all good. Get a Netflix or Hulu account for something a little different.

• I use my iPad and iPhone plus my Sony is a smart tv with dozens of applications. Your laptop should work fine with online streaming services.
