“Will this Terk HD antenna work to just pick up channels if hooked up to a older style CRT box shaped tv? I don't care if the picture is unable to see in 1080p since the tv is from before hd tv's were everywhere, i just want to know if it will work?”

No, this antenna uses hdmi to connect to an HD tv. You might be able to convert the signal down but I’m not sure that would work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Sounds like you have an analog tv. You would need a digital converter to use with pre- digital TV's. They run about $40. I used with my digital TV with no problem but then needed to get a digital converter to use with my analog HD projection TV.

I just hooked it up to an old digital to analog converter I bought when the stations started to broadcast across the airwaves with a digital signal. Works fine and I live 40 miles from the broadcast antennas.
