• seems to work best when put in a window in the direction of closest signal. Should work in basement if there is a window,

• In order to get a clear reception, you should locate this product as high as possible. It could work with an extra long coaxial cable

• Do you have a window in your basement? We had issues with limited reception due to surrounded by multistory brick buildings. If you have window access and unobstructed path towards stations, it might work.
