• Yes, Mine was installed by hardwiring from electrical panel. The only thing is I bought this for Tesla with plans to be able to charge other vehicles in the future. With tesla adapter it won’t plug in back on charger holder ( Need to remove adapter). I usually switch it off from the panel for the safety. Since kids may touch it while it is on
