Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will need to program the max kilowatt charging power level by using your smartphone’s Wi-Fi function during a quick setup procedure. This is needed to match your max charge rate with the wiring and circuit breaker capacity. But I think it will be able to then charge your PHEV without wifi. But without Wi-Fi, Tesla will not be able to update its firmware if ever needed. Also, isn’t this unit no longer produced by Tesla now that they have the new “Universal Wall Connector” that can charge both NACS and j1772 EVs?
