After wasting a trip, I know you can tell the difference because the CX non-CAS has a white border and will say ACT approved on the package, like this one.

A:AnswerYes, but it is easy for it to give you a syntax error for stuff that it won't give you syntax error when you aren't using complex numbers. It's tricky, I believe there are some youtube tutorials for it though.
