You can play solo or pass the control between yourself and others while playing just as with previous games in the series.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This game has a solo, an online co-op, and a “movie night” mode. Solo is offline with you playing the whole story, every character, on your own. Online co-op splits the story in two as well as splits the playable characters; each player sees a different part of the story that the other doesn’t. Movie night mode is offline and is meant to be played with 2-5 people switching off on a single controller. There’s also “director’s cut” which is the single player but from different perspectives and some scenes are slightly altered.
