“Why is it grossly overpriced compared to their other cabinets? Is there any specific features to this cabinet that distinguishes it VS other Arcade 1UP cabinets? NBA Jam, Golden Axe, and TMNT did not cost as much??”

It's because the Simpsons marquee (sign) on top lights up. It has quarter slots that light up. It comes with bar stool It has wifi online multiplayer It comes with a metal plate that has Simpsons stuff on it

Other than that, blame inflation for increase costs to wood & loss of dollar value. I got MKII with light up marquee, riser, & stool 1.5 years ago for $349 & that was considered a deal...routinely saw $399 as the price. Then Star Wars was $499. Then Big Buck Hunter at $549. Then Overrun at $599. It's the new normal unfortunately.
