• Yes. Orgen will automatically ooen up when you start the game. But its a free thing and after the initial set up you don't need orgin

• It seems we were required to register and open Origin to be able to play on a PC. Not sure with digital download or MAC.

• Yes. The disk will only work for PC since the execution file is only formatted for Microsoft systems. However you can look into partitioning your hard drive and uploading a Microsoft office on that part to enjoy the benefits of PC gaming vs Mac. But that would take away from your Mac hard drive space.
