No, when you use the Therabody app you can choose a BGM but only from the selection

No, you cant play music through the headset, But once you connect the headset to your phone via Bluetooth and they sync, while you are enjoying the heat and or massage of the headset - the soft music or relaxing sounds play through your phone, and they turn off together, AND then you get a readout on the phone of your heart rate both before and after. You don't have to use it with your phone either. It can be turned off and on and heat and massage can be independantly and simply adjusted. You have to close your eyes to use it safely, which is extremely helpful with dry eye.
