• The front of panel ready appliances are not meant to remain without a custom panel. There are holes in the front of the metal door that are used for attaching a panel that matches your kitchen. Typically, panel ready appliances are purchased at the same time as the rest of the cabinetry so the dishwasher (or fridge) blends in with the kitchen. You need to have a cabinet maker fabricate panel to match the rest of your kitchen and also purchase a handle meant to pull the weight of the door open (usually not a standard door pull).
