• I purchased these fans and they can be used singly or however, you want to use them. We have two for backups in case we need them.

• The fans are plugged into the control box individually, so you can run as little as one or as many as 5 off 1 control box. You can also add another control box and sync up to 10 fans.

• Yea if u only wanted to hook up 2 fans then u could I only used 2 out of the three and everything works fine
