Yes I will help the heat sink absorb heat from the processor. Unfortunately the processor will always produce heat as long as the system is in use. Keeping the fan and internal contents clean dust free will reduce overheating. Think air flow!

If you know how to install thermal paste yes. But also clean the dust out of your fans. And unplug the fan first before blowing it out and clearing all the dust away.

It will help but I would try and find a small cooling fan to put inside of PS4 and would help out great.

I used it for my ps4 and it does help but honestly the fans that come with the ps4 aren't the best and after a while it still gets hot but if you buy a fan and have it pointed at the left side of your ps4 that will also help get it cooler

If you want to risk voiding your warranty, go for it. Usually a good dusting with compressed air and alcohol will clean up electrical components
