I used some on a 80gb backwards compatible ps3 and it seems to have worked very well so far so good..I used to not read instructions for years but I have gotten into the habit of reading all instructions as of recent years and upon reading the instructions for this product I learned that you really only need not much more than the drop of a dime per side ( you can use more if your not comfortable) but from my understanding it's a waste to .a side note if you tackle the job yourself I would recommend to do as suggested and clean the area very well with alcohol to get the old residue off completely then apply the new also there are two more spots that need under the little towers that you should probably apply this to since your already this far into it .steady handy and patience is the key to doing the job right and I'm a very impatient person so if you have to take a break and don't get mad like I do and good luck I hope this helps someone

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, absolutely. Can be used in any situation where thermal transference between two points is needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but don't use to much. You don't want to make a mess on the motherboard and to much on the processor can be a bad thing. Use the amount of a pea size dot and smooth it evenly add a little more to any dry spots. Carefully it gets messy. Good luck
