• Hi There, Depending on the type of vehicle and sensitivity you have set the camera up you may be able to catch the vandal using our Motion Detection mode while stationary. While using Impact Detection, as this mode is made for hit and runs requires a significant force to hit the vehicle to set it off. (Again this varies with the type of vehicle and sensitivity settings.) Therefore the force of someone placing a nail in your tire not in view from the camera would be more difficult to capture. In this case we'd recommend using Motion Detection to catch the vandal approaching and walking around the vehicle (dependent on camera placement.)
