“I am looking for a camera that when parked will detect motion as light as someone keying your car. Will it record that and will it capture side views of the car?”

I really don’t think it would unless they passed fro the front or back of the car. That’s why I got a very large memory card and leave it on continuous mode if I’m not parked in my garage. This way you can see what happened leading up to it and after proving that they did it.

Both the Front and Rear Camera have a wide-angle lens of 140 degrees. This will record any Motion in view of the Front or Rear Cams, or any impacts to the vehicle. The Motion and Impact Sensitivity can be altered in the settings. Unfortunately we do not believe this will cover the sides of your vehicle for Motion.
