The ice is wet because the temp. inside the ice maker is 40 degrees, not 32 degrees or below.

On top of that, Total Tech does not cover this product so you have to deal directly with Thor. I had so many problems in just 4 months that are hard to fit here. Yesterday Best Buy verified all the issues: Ice is wet, Ice comes in slabs, balls of ice make you turn off the machine 24hs. Thor wants me to hire a service guy at my cost because they just cover parts. Fortunately yesterday Best Buy authorized the return of this terrible product. Stay Away from Thor Kitchen products.
