It is usually clipped on. I use key rings. They have tile sticker if you’re looking for a more sticker like solution

The product mentioned, and the product I reviewed, have a cut out that allows you to slip a key ring or something similar. I suppose you can also use a bread tie, paper clip, etc. They're slim enough that you can stick it into a wallet, phone case pocket, etc. These come with NO adhesives, but you can pick those up anywhere.

I put it on one of the pouches in my mom's purse but you can also put it on a keychain
