You can use one or the other, plus the Tile app on your phone. Any one Tile token and the Tile app is all you need.

They offer you so much information about who is where and where your stuff, cars, bags or anything you decide to place a Tile on or in! I have them for every high dollar item and for Locating my daughter, her car and same with my wife and son! This is a Total Game Changer in location History! For the Premium Prescription.
