Does the Tile Pro effectively track checked-in luggage when/if the airline loses it? Will it still track if the Tile Pro is inside of the checked-in bag? null

The tile signal is quite strong and has different ranges depending on the tile. I put one in my motorcycle and the motorcycle was stolen. I looked at my Tile app and tracked it and gave the information to a private detective who got my bike back within the day. I would have never known where my bike was without the Tile! Well worth the money as a relatively inexpensive tracker!

yes, I put this to the test just driving around because that's what I plan to do with them. I shut Bluetooth off on my phone and went places as normal. the location picked up even from bypassing cars. I've read some stories of people getting the signal from within the plane, as well.

On the news recently... A stolen bag was found via the tracker. I put the Tile on the outside as a deterrent. My thinking is a thief will go on to the next bag rather than bother with a tracked bag.

Without another tile installed app nearby, your tile is useless
