Thank you for asking. Our Tile Style and Tile Sport models were originally designed with a non-replaceable battery in part because it makes them water-resistant, but mainly because it makes them reliable for a full year after activation.
If you're looking for Tile models with replaceable batteries, we now offer the same guarantee plus replaceable batteries in the new Tile Mate and Pro Series!
