For a dementia patient, you're more likely going to want to use some kind of elderly alert service, where you could put a bracelet on the patient and allow a monitoring service to track them via GPS (and locate them more than 150' away if necessary).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it might fall off of clothing. But you could put it in a pocket that is hard for them to reach. If they wander too far off it would be harder to track. You might be better off to check with the doctor to see what would be the safest to use.
