• No. They are battery powered. The tile pro (the one for the keychain) uses a small coin battery, and is replaceable. The original tiles were not battery replaceable. They had a recycle program where they gave you money off if you sent it back in for a new one. They do work well. My daughter lost her car keys and we found them due to the tile. M
