Thank you for your inquiry. The unit of measurement for the distance tracking feature of the Timex Ironman HeartFIT™ Transit+ 33mm Resin Strap Activity and Heart Rate Watch is in miles or kilometers. It can be set in time settings. Keep scrolling until you reach "Units".
