• Just purchased the A10 and does have lever that keeps it running with out having to continually hold the on.

• It does have an on/off switch. It also have an option for switch to stay on with vacuuming without keep holding it for power.

• On /off switch but a clip to keep it running with holding the switch. I like that option better.
