Yes, it would this vacuum is very effective, and I think it would fit your needs perfectly, just watch the light on the vacuum, and Voila, it is clean but you still need to vacuum your dirty basement.

I am completely satisfied with my unit but I am also realistic about its purpose. It isn’t a commercial cleaner by any means.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is great for upkeep, however if you’re buying it for major jobs, I’d suggest doing that by hand first. It would take forever to clean dried on dirt with this unless you presoaked it.
