- Answer I do not use their solution, I add a cap full of bleach so I don’t think using a cap full of vinegar would be a problem.

QuestionIs the battery removable? Can a second battery be bought and charged? If battery lasts about 35 minutes, then I'll have to wait for it to charge to finish cleaning.

- Answer Don’t know about swapping battery but i am able to clean 2800 square ft tile house on 1 charge. Charges quickly if you don’t get thru. Check with manufacturers about battery. It’s amazing. I also Have Bessel crosswave actually use both. Crosswave can do entry carpet mats. Tineco floor only . Tineco leaves a dryer floor. Neither will scrub the floor. It’s a light wet vac mop.

QuestionThe Tineco website says that their warranty is only valid when the machine is purchased from Tineco Amazon Store, Tineco Lazada Store, Tineco Global on Ebay. Why isn't Best Buy listed? Will this product not be guaranteed by the manufacturer if purchased?

- Answer According to the packaging, it says it comes with a 2 year warranty. I believe the S5 Extreme is a BestBuy exclusive item, which means that it wouldn't be sold anywhere else, including from the Tineco website, perhaps it's an oversite by Tineco that they are only referring to items that are not exclusive to certain stores. I haven't tried to use it so I can't tell you if I will have a problem with trying to use it.

- Answer Dear Helen, Thank you for your question. As long as it's non-carpeted floor including vinyl, tile, laminate, and sealed wood floors, you will have no problems using this machine. As for the differences, S5 Extreme has a "suction only" mode to deal with wet surfaces, and comes with an extra brush roller compared to S5. Hope my answer helps. Have a nice day! - Answer Thank you for contacting us. This solution cannot be used on silk, leather, or similar materials. It is suitable for wool carpets, but a small-area test is necessary first. Only use it on a larger area if no adverse reactions are observed. Please test colorfastness on a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet first. If the color is affected, do not use the solution.
