• Hello – The Tineco FloorOne S3 washes and vacuums your hard floors at the same time. You can combine two chores into one with better, faster, cleaner results than mopping and vacuuming alone. This is not intended to clean your carpets. Thanks!

• The instructions specifically say the intended use is for hard floors, like wood or vinyl or tile. While it doesn't say to not use it on carpet, I doubt it works as well if at all. I wouldn't recommend using this on soft surfaces.
