Do you need to change heads when moving from hard surface to carpet. I have wood floors with many throw rugs on pads. How easy will this be to use. null

No if using the multi surface attachment but the smooth roller does not work on pile carpet well.

No, just keep the brush on all the time. The hard floor head is nice and is really quiet, but you don’t have to use it

One of the heads can do all,  and the other one I can’t remember is only good for one surface so we just keep the one that is for multi surface on

No, you do not need to change the head when using the vacuum. We love this vacuum! So lightwieght and soooo easy to use!  Highly recommend this product
