Q: QuestionHow long will the sim card expired before you have to activate it?
Asked by chinot66.
- A:Answer Purchased mine about 3 weeks ago 9/21/2019, just opened package and activated today. The SIM card has an Activate by date printed on it when you open it, in my case it was 9/27/2021. I’m guessing at least two years unless the have old stock on the shelves. Porting over super easy too you just need your Billing Account Number and PIN and your good to go.

Q: Questiondoes the sim card come with an actual phone number
Asked by michael.
- A:Answer When you visit the ting website, you choose the wether you want a new number assigned to you or keep/port in your number from another carrier. It’ll then ask you to enter the imei off your device/phone and SIM card # you purchased. Took me like 3 minutes to port over from AT&T. You’ll need your Billing Account Number and PIN number to port over.

Q: QuestionHow much do I have to pay to use the internet on this sim - I am just using it for Google Map to navigate to the airport and back. Can the $30 credit be used to pay for this ? Do I have to pay additional $30 for this credit or it comes with the kit ?
Asked by Daryl.
- A:Answer Credit comes with the kit and is shown upon activation. You pay (out of the credit) $6 for the line in addition to whatever usage accumulated via talk/text/data. The $30 credit will last for a while provided you make smart use of free WIFI. To keep it covered without any out of pocket cost switch your phone's data saver feature on, and also I would highly recommend downloading maps over WIFI and switching your google-maps setting to WIFI only, allowing for offline use so you won't use any mobile data.

Q: QuestionIs this compatible with sprint iPhones?
Asked by Jennjenn.
- A:Answer Sprint uses CDMA technology in their phones. Ting supports both. The best part is Ting runs on the Sprint network. So YES your iPhone works on Ting. I would go to Tings website and verify this with their “Bring your device” phone checker. All you need is your IMEI number by Dialing *#06# on your phone. Ting has FAQ’s galore to help you with the process. Good luck!

Q: QuestionDoes this Sim card work for in 2G? I need it for a7 gsm/gprs/gsm device !
Asked by Mateo.
- A:Answer If I understand your question correctly, you are asking in general if Ting supports GSM. Yes it does. Ting supports nationwide GSM and CDMA phones over the Sprint and AT&T network as of now. If you have a GSM Samsung Galaxy A7 then you phone will work fine with this SIM card. You should always verify your phone is compatible with Ting’s “Bring my Phone” checker on their website. It also verifies that the phone is unlocked. Good luck!
