I do not have cable. I use a HD antenna to get my local channels and this works with the Bolt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All you need is an antenna that gets good reception of your local channels. This can be a problem if you are far from the transmitter or if obstructions are in the way. Generally one can get all local channels within 30 miles of the transmitter with a good antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Bolt supports a HD Antenna, so if you get these channels OTA (Over The Air) then there's no reason you can't watch them given that support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can get local channels from an antenna, or from a cable/satellite provider. If you only want local channels, I suggest you buy a TIVO version that is local channels only. They are less expensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on where you live. I'm between Orlando and west Palm Beach where all the signals are except abc. So you can get OTA but there is no app for local channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's either or. You only have one input. You can set it for OTA or cable. Unlike the Premiere, you cannot do both simultaneously
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use an over the air HD antenna and watch and record your local channels
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You receive all the channels that your current cable provider offers. You just need to have a cable card installed in your Bolt to receive them. The card should be available from your cable provider.
