- Answer No. Turn in your cable box and ask for a M-Card. Insert the M-Card into the TiVo Bolt and activate it with your cable provider.

- Answer I do not have cable. I use a HD antenna to get my local channels and this works with the Bolt.

- Answer It doesn't have a specific speed requirement, but you'll need a good broadband to enjoy any of the streaming content (especially 4K which is very demanding)

See below from TIVO website: The service plan includes, at no additional charge, an enhanced limited warranty (known as "Continual Care") for the full, uninterrupted duration of your annual or monthly TiVo service subscription. With Continual Care, and for a cost of $49.00 (plus shipping and any applicable taxes) after ninety (90) days from your purchase date, you can exchange a defective or inoperative TiVo BOLT or TiVo DVR for a repaired, renewed or comparable product (at TiVo's discretion). The exchange exclusions and restrictions contained in the TiVo DVR Limited Warranty

- Answer To have a whole-home DVR solution, you would need to pair a TiVo Mini with the Bolt. The Bolt being on 1 TV and the Mini being on another. The Bolt and Mini both have MoCA capability, so they can network using the coaxial cable in your house. The Mini will use a tuner from the Bolt to watch live TV or can stream recorded shows from the Bolt to the Mini. There is a monthly service fee with the Bolt (after the first year), but there is never a monthly service fee with the Mini.

- Answer It works with the latest Tivo Mini whether you have one or two. If you are refering to an older model of Tivo Mini then check with Tivo's website.

QuestionI purchased this unit and Tivo informed me that it does not qualify for first year of service. The description says it does. Apparently tivo is not honoring it. Has anyone else had this issue??

- Answer If you have a flash drive and you can transfer your movie downloads to that drive you can plug the drive into the TIVO and play them if they are in a format that is recognized. There are many software package to take your downloads and copy them to a DVD disc or rip them to a flash drive. Google "Nero" , "DVDFab", etc.

- Answer It will record the OTA channels just fine, however Netflix is streamed and not recorded. You can cue the Netflix feature you want and watch it anytime.
