“have my modem and cablei have them hooked up to the one line in the wall for some reason it only ahve a strong enough signal for one or another one plug in i tried the splitter but it still wont let me use both of them the same time will this work”

First you have to add a splitter. The output goes directly into the tivo bridge. Second, you have to set your network settings on your tivo box to MoCA Third, you want to set up your main tivo(not tivo Mini) as the “client”

Please try again later.If you are referring to signal strength to run both your tivo which creates the moca network and modem using a splitter, that is something your cable provider would need to look into for you. They need to check signal strength. If it is the location of the Tivo bridge with a cable tv hook up then I would look at thw amount of splitters in the house. Each cable location in the house should have a home run (or straight run) from cable box outside to cable location.
