Hi Delia, Thank you for your question. The senior (i.e. receiver) can acknowledge they have received a reminder message by tapping on Tochie speaker. Once acknowledged, the caregiver (i.e. sender) will be notified on their mobile phone/Tochie mobile app. While pending acknowledgement of the reminder, Tochie speaker may repeat the reminder message up to three times depending on the user’s preferences. The reminders do not need confirmation by device users, when you send quick messages you can request for confirmation. If the device user doesnt respond by tapping the device, it will repeat the message. There is a settings you can set the repeat intervals and times. Hope this answers.
