it takes long time to get gps to work null

If you connect it to your PC it will update its Quick GPS function. Once you update it it takes about 5 secs.

I ran a half marathon trail run through a dense forest and barely saw the sunlight that day due to foliage. This watch was spot on. The GPS worked perfectly in conditions that I never thought that it would. I checked its accuracy against other runners/watches at the finish, and our stats all matched.

No, GPS kicks in very quickly, within 30 seconds if out doors. Longer if indoors. Will load much faster if you start GPS once you are outside. Ran with watch in the San Antonio area and in Northern California, seems to sync to GPS faster in California.
