A: You don't have to take your phone when you run. The watch gives an added bonus of a step tracker.

A: Yes. It has light function. You only touch the screen and will light up! Also has a " Night " option that keeps the light on for the entire workout.
Q: Does this watch have a built in optical heart rate sensor to count calories?
A: HR is built into the watch, you just need to have it positioned correctly and tight enough to get an accurate reading. As you track your workouts and sync to your phone it will show you calories burned.
