“I drive both an rv and a car. Is there a way to switch it to car mode if I am using it in a car or will it still think I am in an rv and restrict me from using parkways etc.”

Hi there! Yes indeed, you can save various vehicle profiles to the device and switch between these. This is found in Settings and My Vehicle. Hope that helps! - Cameron at TomTom
